The Grand Mufti of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, announced that Monday, May 2, will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
Earlier Sunday, the Crescent Committee met at the Iftaa' Department to monitor the sighting of the crescent moon, which signifies the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
On April 3, Jordan marked the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
