Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday evening that Monday will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, which concludes the month of Ramadan.

The official Saudi Press Agency, quoting the Royal Court, reported that the Supreme Court announced that "tomorrow, Sunday, is the completion of the blessed month of Ramadan... and Monday is the first day of Eid al-Fitr."

The date of Eid al-Fitr is determined by sighting the crescent, according to the Islamic lunar calendar.

In turn, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Palestine, Syria, and Iraq announced that Monday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
