Friday, residents of Jerusalem have carried on with their preparations to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which is expected to take place on May 2.

The markets were filled with citizens buying all they needed in preparation for the occasion.

This came despite the escalating tension in the city, after renewed clashes with the Israeli Occupation in Al-Aqsa Mosque earlier Friday.
