The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday. This came in response to an invitation from the Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
The Turkish presidency office stated that the visit will last for two days, during which Erdogan will be discussing the bilateral relations between Ankara and Riyadh and the possibility of improving it, in addition to discussing regional and national issues.
Erdogan's office said the president's visit comes following Ankara's months-long efforts to repair relations with Riyadh.
