British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Friday that Britain is set to reopen its embassy in Kyiv next week. The embassy has been closed since the beginning of the year due to the military operation in Ukraine.

"We announce today that we will reopen our embassy in the Ukrainian capital next week," Johnson, who is currently on a visit to India, said.
