The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed Friday the announcement made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Yemen, regarding the return of their ambassadors to Lebanon.
The official spokesperson for the ministry Haitham Abu Al-Foul confirmed that the ambassadors' return to the Lebanese capital, Beirut, reflects the keenness to strengthen Arab ties, stressing the importance of the statement issued by the Lebanese Prime Minister recently on Lebanon's relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the role of the Kuwaiti-Gulf initiative to end the crisis.
He added that Jordan supports the return of the Gulf-Lebanese relations in order to enhance Arab solidarity and Arab issues.
