Safadi reiterates Jordan's solidarity with Saudi Arabia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi reaffirmed that Jordan stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s facilities, its security and stability.

During his meeting Saturday with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the Doha Forum, Safadi reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation of the Houthi attacks on Saudi oil facilities, which led to a fire in one of Aramco's distribution stations in Jeddah on Friday.

Safadi assured his Saudi counterpart that Jordan stands with them in any step they take to protect their security and interests.

During the meeting, Safadi and Prince Faisal discussed ways to strengthen strategic relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and stressed their keenness to develop them in various fields.

Safadi and Prince Faisal stressed that the two kingdoms stand together in the face of challenges, and will continue to work to increase bilateral cooperation and coordination in efforts to resolve regional crises and achieve security and stability.

They also discussed many regional and international issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, confronting Houthi attacks and efforts to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis, the Syrian crisis and the Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions on the region and the world.
