In a statement on Friday, the Houthi rebels claimed a series of attacks on Saudi Arabia, one of which caused a massive fire at an Aramco oil facility in Jeddah.

"Aramco has targeted Jizan and Najran with large numbers of drones, and vital and important targets in the regions of Jizan, Dhahran al-Janoub, Abha and Khamis Mushait, with large numbers of ballistic missiles," the Houthis announced through their spokesman, Yahya Saree.

Seperately, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the continuous attacks of the Houthi militia on the territory of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the launch of a ballistic missile and booby-trapped drones at civilian buildings and energy facilities located in several regions in the Kingdom Friday, which were intercepted and destroyed by the Saudi air defenses.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Ambassador Haitham Abu Al-Foul, affirmed, in a statement received by Roya, the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and denunciation of these cowardly terrorist attacks, stressing the Kingdom’s solidarity and its absolute stand by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of all that threatens its security and the security of its brotherly people.
