Europeans will suffer a "hard blow" from the Western sanctions against Moscow, Russia's ambassador to France Alexei Mechkov said Tuesday at a press conference in Paris, AFP reported.

"What we see today is a true anti-Russian hunt," Mechkov added.

"People are attacked, deprived of their property just because they are Russian."
