The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs said that the third plane of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, which flew to Poland under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to evacuate Jordanian citizens, took off shortly before from the military wing of Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, carrying 68 citizens and their families, who were on board.

Those on board crossed the border into Poland from Ukraine, mostly from the Ukrainian city of Sumy.

It added that the Crisis Cell at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, in intensive coordination with the various Jordanian authorities and institutions concerned, the embassy in Berlin (accredited to Poland), and the ministry's delegates in Warsaw coordinated and took all necessary measures and arrangements to evacuate Jordanian citizens and their families, starting from crossing the border into Poland, and securing them to the capital Warsaw and facilitating their departure today to the Kingdom.

The plane, which had taken off from Warsaw at 6:30 pm, is expected to arrive at Marka Military Airport around 12:45 at night. It should be noted that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army/Royal Jordanian Air Force Command has provided all requirements and appropriate conditions for the landing of the military plane and the reception of arrivals at Marka Military Airport, including organizing the entry of the people and providing transport buses for the arrivals.
