British MPs on Tuesday gave a standing ovation for Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky before he gave a virtual address to the House of Commons, AFP reported.

The embattled president spoke to MPs as part of his diplomatic push for more Western action against Russia for its military operations in Ukraine.

"We have all been fighting for our country," he said.
