British Airways announced the cancellation of more than 150 short-haul flights to and from London Heathrow Airport Saturday, due to continuing technical problems following a failure in its systems, which occurred on Friday evening.

Many British media quoted a statement from the company that the morning flights to Milan, Geneva and Aberdeen were among the flights canceled, while the company expects more disturbances and advised travelers to review their situation in relation to their flights, before heading to the airport.

The company indicated that long-haul services will be operated at Heathrow, along with flights at London's smaller Gatwick and City airports, despite possible delays, adding that its website is now operating again.
