Tuesday, an official government source denied rumors regarding an official holiday next Monday, on the anniversary of Al-Isra' wal-Mi'raj, for ministries and government institutions.

The source told Roya that a decision was made back in 2007 to celebrate the anniversary of Al-Isra' wal-Mi'raj without disrupting official institutions, in addition to other religious and national occasions.

He pointed out that what is being circulated on social media is baseless, calling on citizens to obtain information from official sources.
