“We have working minds, we can speak clearly, we are intellectual. We are more than intellectual. We can speak our minds clearly and proudly,” said Aiman Saifi, a student in the capital.

Meanwhile in Udupi in Karnataka state, one of the young women barred from attending class for wearing an Islamic headscarf said: “We are receiving so many threats and I can see people following us, but I’m not scared of them. I’m really not scared of them! You know, I am asking for my justice and I hope I will get justice and I am waiting for my victory!”
