Monday, the Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Al-Kasabi took a nap under the dome of the parliament while the deputies delivered their speeches during discussions of the state's general budget.

Roya's cameras caught him falling asleep while MP Fayza Odaibat was giving her speech regarding the state budget 2022.

MP Fayza Odaibat said that no governments came up with ideas that were of any benefit to the people, noting that previous governments "sold" the nation's resources.

Odaibat added that measures must be implemented to prospect mineral resources in Jordan, restructure the tax system, and start providing an attractive environment for local and foreign investment.
