The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) said that the Amnesty International's report titled "Israel’s Apartheid Against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crime Against Humanity", is a victory for the universality of human rights.

In a statement on Thursday, the NCHR stressed the importance of the consistent conclusions included in the report that based on an accumulated work over 4 years of investigation, research and documentation on Israeli Occupation's systematic practices of the crime of apartheid.

The NCHR called on all national human rights institutions worldwide to unify human rights efforts aimed at achieving international justice by halting such practices against the Palestinian people.

The hashtag #EndIsraeliApartheid trended on Twitter with many users commenting on the report.

Amnesty’s tweet received many replies from both supporters and adversaries of the report.
