Jordan recorded 24 deaths and 16,226 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,225,309.

The toll has risen to 13,217.

A total 206 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 179 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 900 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 85,397 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 56,399 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 28.77 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 24.84 percent Sunday.
