Saturday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Faisal Al-Shboul, said that the government is closely monitoring the weather situation to take the appropriate decision regarding the employees' working hours tomorrow, Sunday.
Shboul added in an exclusive statement to Roya, that the government will determine whether or not the weather conditions require a decision regarding working hours.
Shboul had called on employees who have work on Saturday, to take the utmost care and caution while driving as a result of the low temperatures in the early morning and evening hours.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), there is a slight rise in temperatures Saturday, and the weather will be very cold with the appearance of clouds at low altitudes, with a chance for light showers of rain to fall in parts of the north and center of the country.
The JMD warned of the danger of slipping on roads due to the snow, and the low range of horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog in the early morning hours and late night hours, especially over the mountainous heights, and the formation of frost and the possibility of floods due to melted snow.
