Wednesday, the Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, confirmed that the ministry, through the governors, and concerned agencies in the governorates, has taken all necessary measures to deal with the prevailing weather conditions with the highest levels of responsibility to preserve everyone’s safety.

This came during an online meeting held by Faraya with the governors, during which he stressed the need to coordinate with the Crisis Center, the Jordanian Red Crescent, Public Security Directorate to meet the needs of citizens and residents as well as inspect the conditions of refugees during the prevailing weather conditions.

The Minister of Interior said that today, hospitals, oxygen, fuel and water tanks were inspected, and the emphasis was also on ensuring the arrival of medical personnel to hospitals, helping patients to reach hospitals, especially dialysis patients and those with chronic diseases.

In addition to working to open roads and fixing emergency malfunctions on electricity, water and communications networks, and relocating those who live in tents near torrents. Gas stations and bakeries were also inspected, by request of the minister.
