The government’s daily coronavirus announcement revealed the occupancy rates in hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients across Jordan as of Friday, Jan. 21.

The occupancy rates in hospitals in northern region:

-Isolation beds: nine percent

-Intensive care units: 28 percent

-Artificial respirators: 15 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in central region:

-Isolation beds: 16 percent

-Intensive care units: 32 percent

-Artificial respirators: 13 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in southern region:

-Isolation beds: seven percent

-Intensive care units: seven percent

-Artificial respirators: five percent

Jordan recorded six deaths and 6,309 new coronavirus cases Friday.
