Jordan recorded 15 deaths and 6,289 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,123,686.

The toll has risen to 13,043.

The cases are:

-3,500 in Amman

-794 in Zarqa

-686 in Irbid

-560 in Balqa

-142 in Madaba

-141 in Jerash

-136 in Karak

-133 in Mafraq

-101 in Ramtha

-87 in Ajloun

-51 in Aqaba

-43 in Ma'an

-15 in Tafilah

A total 111 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 71 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 621 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 40,031 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 36,143 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 17.40 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 15.39 percent Wednesday.
