Jordan records 10 deaths and 5,175 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 10 deaths and 5,175 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,111,181.

The death toll has risen to 13,014.

The cases are:

-3,069 in Amman

-614 in Zarqa

-478 in Irbid

-338 in Balqa

-146 in Jerash

-123 in Mafraq

-98 in Madaba

-74 in Karak

-67 in Ma'an

-56 in Ramtha

-53 in Ajloun

-44 in Aqaba

-15 in Tafilah

A total 107 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 116 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 585 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 33,245 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 36,264 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 14.27 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 13.02 percent Monday.
