Jordan records 18 deaths and 5,039 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 18 deaths and 5,039 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,106,006.

The death toll has risen to 13,004.

The cases are:

-2,946 in Amman

-676 in Zarqa

-432 in Irbid

-392 in Balqa

-130 in Madaba

-104 in Jerash

-100 in Mafraq

-73 in Karak

-53 in Ma'an

-49 in Ajloun

-44 in Ramtha

-40 in Aqaba

A total 100 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 84 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 604 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 30,419 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 38,962 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 13.02 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 11.77 percent Sunday.
