The government’s daily coronavirus announcement revealed the occupancy rates in hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients across Jordan as of Sunday, Jan. 16.

The occupancy rates in hospitals in northern region:

-Isolation beds: 11 percent

-Intensive care units: 31 percent

-Artificial respirators: 14 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in central region:

-Isolation beds: 15 percent

-Intensive care units: 28 percent

-Artificial respirators: 12 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in southern region:

-Isolation beds: seven percent

-Intensive care units: nine percent

-Artificial respirators: five percent

Jordan recorded 12 deaths and 3,493 new coronavirus cases Sunday.
