Jordan recorded 15 deaths and 2,387 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,097,474.

The death toll has risen to 12,974.

The cases are:

-44 in Karak

-40 in Mafraq

-29 in Madaba

-23 in Aqaba

-22 Jerash

-20 in Ramtha

-12 Ajloun

-Nine in Ma'an

-Seven in Tafilah

A total 69 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 62 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 599 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 25,312 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 27,041 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 8.83 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 9.09 percent Friday.
