Jordan records 23 deaths and 2,829 new coronavirus cases
Jordan records 23 deaths and 2,829 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 23 deaths and 2,829 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,088,329.

The death toll has risen to 12,932.

The cases are:

-1,422 in Amman

-436 in Zarqa

-360 in Irbid

-174 in Balqa

-110 in Mafraq

-69 in Jerash

-66 in Madaba

-47 in Aqaba

-44 in Ajloun

-43 in Karak

-34 in Ma'an

-15 in Ramtha

-Nine in Tafilah

A total 85 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 83 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 634 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 28,814 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 37,423 PCR tests were conducted.

Wednesday, 7.56 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 8.05 percent Tuesday.
