Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of six new infections with the Omicron variant in Bethlehem.

The ministry's media spokesperson, Kamal Al-Shakhra, said that the total number of Omicron infections in Palestine has risen to 54, including one in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier Tuesday, the spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Kamal Al-Shakhrah, announced the registration of 13 new cases of the Omicron variant in Palestine.

Dec. 16, Shakhra announced that the first three cases of Omicron were recorded in Palestine.
