Teams from the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) west of Irbid managed Tuesday to recover a vehicle that fell into the King Abdullah Canal in the Al-Masharea area in the Northern Jordan Valley.

The administrator of the Northern Jordan Valley Brigade, Ali Al-Hawamdeh, said that the vehicle veered off the road and fell into the canal.

As for the driver, Hawamdeh said he was slightly injured but was able to get out of the vehicle before it fell into the canal.
