Jewish extremist settlers on Monday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram al-Sharif compound in occupied East Jerusalem.

In a statement, the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs Department in Jerusalem said that the radical settlers carried out the raids through the al-Magharebah gate under heavy protection of the police.

Scores of the settlers and students of Jewish institutes toured the Mosque's yards, performed Talmudic rituals and listened to explanations about the alleged Temple Mount, amid a state of anger inside the compound, it added.
