The media spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masafah, said that face-to-face education is the basis for learning and a strategic choice for the ministry.

Al-Masafa added to Roya Saturday that the Ministry of Education was able to balance the health of administrative and teaching cadres and students, and the continuation of face-to-face education during the first semester.

He referred to the positive reactions to the implementation of the educational loss program, before the start of the first semester, and the students receiving their lessons in the classroom.

He explained that coronavirus infections in schools decreased during the final exams period, considering it a good indicator of a decrease in infections during the winter holidays.

He pointed out that the number of schools that closed due to coronavirus reached 15 schools in all Jordan (public - private - UNRWA), and that the number of people whose work was suspended did not exceed two per thousand.

Al-Masafa pointed out that the administrative and teaching staff adhere to the health protocol, stressing that it has become a culture for them, and that they have become more experienced in dealing with the Corona epidemic.

He explained that the ministry is working to develop its educational platforms, so that a student infected with the virus can receive his/her education through these platforms.
