Palestine confirms five new Omicron cases

Saturday morning, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of five new infections with the Omicron variant.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Kamal Al-Shakhra, said in a statement, that the number of Omicron cases in Palestine has risen to 23 in various governorates.

Dec. 16, Palestine recorded the first three cases of Omicron.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Palestine has confirmed 437,574 cases and 4,619 deaths.
