Four family members died Monday morning due to severe burns after a fire broke out in a tent in the Karama area, west of Balqa, a source told Roya.

The source added that the civil defense teams in Balqa dealt with the incident, which resulted in the death of four people of Pakistani nationality.

The source pointed out that the firefighting teams worked to put out the fire, and the deaths were evacuated to the forensic medicine department.

An investigation was opened into the causes of the fire.
