Thursday, a group of Jordanian women launched an initiative to wear the Palestinian dress (Thobe) in response to the Israeli Occupation after they had claimed that the Palestinian thobe is theirs.

The initiative, which was held in Amman, aimed at documenting the Palestinian dress with pictures, after the Israeli Occupation attributed the dress to them at the beauty pageant ceremony that was held in occupied Eilat.

Participants in the initiative denounced the Occupation's theft of the Palestinian Thobe.

They pointed out that the Palestinian dress is linked to the people of occupied Palestine, their identity, heritage and culture.
