The Ministry of Education has set the school calendar for the second semester of the current school year 2021/2022, to start on the first of next February.

Officials in the Ministry told Roya that four school days were added for the second semester.

Students will be studying on Saturdays online. This will only take place on the four Saturdays in the month of February to make room for the educational material that was transferred from the first semester to the second.

According to the Ministry, the winter holiday will start from Dec. 26 to Jan. 31, 2022, in order to reduce the number of coronavirus infections among students.

The number of actual academic days in the first and second semesters is 195 days. Exactly 92 days in the first semester and 103 in the second.

The summer holidays, according to the calendar of the Ministry of Education, begin on June 21, 2022.
