Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs Najwa Qubeilat said that a total of 136,855 students have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of Friday, Dec. 10, while 102,635 have received the second dose.

Qubeilat noted that 37,295 male and female students agreed to their children receiving the coronavirus vaccine.

The ministry has allowed students who are between 12 and 17 to take the vaccine with the approval of the parent, she said.
