A Palestinian youth was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces Saturday afternoon, after he struck a settler in the neck and back.
Local sources said that the soldiers shot the boy at point-blank range near the Al Masara roundabout in the Bab Al-Amoud area, in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The sources added that the IOF attacked the citizens present in the vicinity of the area and fired tear gas canisters at them after shooting the young man, whose identity is still unknown.
The 20-year-old ultra-Orthodox settler that the Palestinian youth stabbed was taken in an ambulance to Shaare Zedek Hospital, with his injuries being described as moderate to serious, according to Hebrew sources.
