Jordan records 28 deaths and 4,665 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 28 deaths and 4,665 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 963,655.

The death toll has risen to 11,661.

The cases are:

-1,246 in Amman

-1,232 in Irbid

-597 in Zarqa

-424 in Balqa

-218 in Jerash

-208 in Ramtha

-194 in Mafraq

-137 in Karak

-132 in Madaba

-103 in Ajloun

-79 in Aqaba

-62 in Tafilah

-33 in Ma'an

A total 202 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 136 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,139 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 57,917 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 51,029 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 9.14 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 9.84 percent Wednesday.
