A man died Wednesday after falling from the top of the Karak Castle, according to Roya’as correspondent in Karak.

The incident occurred while a group of unemployed youths were carrying out a protest inside the castle.

Authorities rushed to the scene of the incident and an investigation has been launched.

Later, the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that initial investigations indicate that there is no suspicion of suicide.

He explained that the deceased was not part of the protest, and that he suffers from a psychological disorder.

The investigation, however, is still ongoing, according to the spokesperson.
