His Majesty King Abdullah II Sunday sent a cable of congratulations to Lebanese President General Michel Aoun on the occasion of his country's Independence Day.

In the cable, the King expressed, in his name and on behalf of the people and government of Jordan, his warmest congratulations on this occasion, wishing the president good health and the brotherly people of Lebanon continued progress and prosperity.
