Jordan records 19 deaths and 3,739 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 19 deaths and 3,739 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 905,738.

The death toll has risen to 11,310.

The cases are:

-1,462 in Amman

-767 in Irbid

-312 in Zarqa

-206 in Ramtha

-201 in Balqa

-154 in Karak

-135 in Jerash

-124 in Mafraq

-110 in Madaba

-106 in Aqaba

-89 in Ajloun 

-41 in Tafilah

-31 in Ma'an

-One in Petra

A total 138 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 97 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 786 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 35,233 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 46,526 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 8.04 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 8.21 percent Wednesday.
