Two young girls of Asian nationality were killed Tuesday morning after a fire broke out inside two tents in the Qastal area, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security DIrectorate (PSD).

The firefighting teams worked to put out the fire, while the ambulance teams transferred the deceased to Al-Nadim Governmental Hospital.

An investigation has been opened into the causes of the fire.
