Following the Jordanian National Day incident as part of the Expo 2020 Dubai, VMLY&R Amman revealed that this incident was purely a solo mistake, as the two ushers who spoke with media representatives were hired to work for a period of two days only, with the task of guiding attendees and providing only basic meet-and-greet duties.
The company explained in a statement that Roya received a copy of, that due to the mistake made by the ushers in regards to providing false information about Jordan and its history during a media interview, their services were terminated immediately.
The company confirmed that the Jordanian pavilion received Friday more than 2,000 visitors who enjoyed a positive and seamless experience, amid expectations that the pavilion will continue to attract more visitors during the coming period.
