The Saudi authorities have recently issued a decision to allow Jordanian citizens to perform Umrah by land, announced the Director General of the Pilgrimage and Umrah Department at Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Majdi Btoush.

In an interview with Petra on Wednesday, he said the Saudi authorities have issued the first visa for a Jordanian citizen to perform Umrah by land.

Btoush called for complying with health protocols issued by the Saudi authorities, such as receiving two COVID-19 vaccine doses and wearing face masks.
