Earlier this week, a Jordanian woman, named Hamda, died immediately after her employer insulted her.

The woman, who worked as a seamstress in a workshop in Al Azraq, died of a ruptured congenital aneurysm after her boss insulted, shouted at, and threatened to fire her.

Violence committed at the workplace may lead to death, and this is what many employers, who put psychological pressure on workers, ignore.

The seamstress’ case is being investigated by Al Azraq Public Prosecutor’s office.
