Wednesday, Lebanese media announced the closure of the offices of the Arab MBC Company and Television Company in Lebanon, adding that the staff and equipment will leave to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MBC Group, Sheikh Walid bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, denounced what the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kurdahi, said against Saudi Arabia and the UAE, considering his statements targeted with malicious accusations.

Al Ibrahim noted that “the positions issued by Kurdahi are very surprising and totally unacceptable, and they only express the biased and deviant political views of those who said them. [The statements] are unfair against our principles and sacrifices and our almost daily confrontation with terrorist attacks on our people in lands in the Kingdom and across restricted borders in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq as well as other Arab countries that are subject to the logic of terrorism and the power of arms.”
