Sunday, the Palestinian Prisoners Society confirmed that repressive forces of the Israeli Occupation prisons administration stormed Section No. 21 of Ofer Prison, and carried out extensive searches inside the section.

The Prisoners Society added that when a confrontation took place between one of the prisoners and a jailer, the prison administration continued to threaten to re-storm the premises, isolate the prisoner and abuse him.

As a retaliation to the refusal of the prisoners, the prison was completely closed, and then the meals were returned as a protest step.

According to the Prisoners Society, a state of tension still prevails inside the prison.

The prisoners in Ofer Prison have faced frequent incursions.

Since the beginning of this year, several incursions were carried out by the Israeli Occupation with the aim of abusing the prisoners, keeping them in a state of "stability" and enforcing more control over them.

Notably, the repression units conducted a large-scale incursion into Section No. 1 of Gilboa Prison two days ago and abused the prisoners, making this the second incursion recorded within days.

The Prisoner Club said in a statement, last Friday, that the repressive forces stormed the section and assaulted the 90 inmates jailed there, and the prison administration cut off their water and electricity.
