Jordan records 11 deaths and 758 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 11 deaths and 758 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 849,758.

The death toll has risen to 10,941.

The cases are:

-230 in Amman

-129 in Irbid

-102 in Zarqa

-53 in Ajloun

-41 in Mafraq

-38 in Aqaba

-28 in Ramtha

-21 in Ma'an

-20 in Madaba

-13 in Karak

-12 in Petra

-11 in Jerash

-Eight in Tafilah

A total of 96 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 34 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 590 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 17,359 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 18,381 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 4.12 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 4.66 percent Friday.
