Monday, three Palestinian female prisoners in the Israeli Occupation prisons joined the open-ended hunger strike, in support of the rest of the prisoners, according to the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority.

The commission said in a statement that the female prisoners are Muna Qaadan, Amal Taqatqa, and Shatila Abu Ayada.

A total of 250 prisoners belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) continue their open-ended hunger strike for the fourth consecutive day, to confront the abusive measures taken by the Israeli Occupation against them.

The commission confirmed that the coming days will witness the joining of new groups of Palestinian prisoners to the hunger strike in the event that the administration of the Israeli Occupation prisons does not respond to their demands.
