The government’s daily coronavirus announcement revealed the occupancy rates in hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients across Jordan as of Monday, Oct. 18.

The occupancy rates in hospitals in northern region:

-Isolation beds: 10 percent

-Intensive care units: 30 percent

-Artificial respirators: 12 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in central region:

-Isolation beds: 12 percent

-Intensive care units: 27 percent

-Artificial respirators: nine percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in southern region:

-Isolation beds: 14 percent

-Intensive care units: 14 percent

-Artificial respirators: 11 percent

Jordan recorded eight deaths and 1,715 new coronavirus cases Monday.
