Jordan records eight deaths and 1,715 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded eight deaths and 1,715 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 843,204.

The death toll has risen to 10,887.

The cases are:

-688 in Amman

-321 in Irbid

-131 in Zarqa

-94 in Balqa

-94 in Aqaba

-78 in Ajloun

-73 in Mafraq

-72 in Ma'an

-55 in Madaba

-28 in Karak

-27 in Jerash

-25 in Tafilah

-18 in Ramtha

-11 in Petra

A total of 124 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 113 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 493 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 15,700 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 32,213 PCR were conducted.

Monday, 5.32 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 4.88 percent Sunday.
